Holy Mackerel! Batman on the Liffey?

I have to admit that I was confused ... I knew a new "Batman" movie was currently being filmed, but surely not in Dublin? Then why is the "Batboat" moored near the Sean O'Casey Bridge?

It is not the "Batboat", it is the Earthrace, a hypermodern trimaran powered by biofuels and created solely with a view to trying to break the world record for a circumnavigation of the globe. A sleek, futuristic hull and Maori tribal designs make the boat unmistakable.

The Earthrace is in Dublin until Sunday, September 30th. Next ports of call are Waterford (October 2nd and 3rd) and then Cardiff and Bristol.
