Well, it was time again to hit the zoo - on a sunny day (a rarity this summer). Latest attractions are two Sumatran tiger cubs, which we caught frolicking with both mum and dad (but cleverly hiding from all but the most eagle-eyed visitors in the substantial undergrowth). Be prepared for the totally new "African Savannah", only opened in April. Explore Asian elephants on a remarkable jungle trail with great views of a watering hole. Watch the orang utans, see the "little" rhino ... or marvel at the all too correct description for wild African dogs - "painted wolves".
