The town of Trim in County Meath has been named as Ireland's cleanest town. The medieval heritage town beat off competition by Swords, County Dublin, and the tourist resort of Killarney in County Kerry. And on the other end ... Dublin's northern inner-city areas (which would include O'Connell Street) and Knocknaheeny in Cork were named and shamed as litter blackspots.
