Just found a rather curious news item in USA Today - transatlantic flights from Europe to the Eastern seaboard of the USA are making more unscheduled stops in Canada. The reason? They are literally running out of fuel due to high winds forcing the planes to use more of it in flight. Apparently this only affects Boeing 757s. Oh, well, at least Aer Lingus uses the Airbus on these routes.
