Lithuanian Airlines - flyLAL
FlyLAL ceased operations in January 2009.

XL Airways
XL Airways has ceased flying as of September 12th, 2008.

Zoom
Zoom has suspended operations with effect from 19:00 hrs on Thursday 28 August 2008.

Euromanx
Euromanx is a relatively young airline (2002) serving the small island between Great Britain and Ireland.

Centralwings
A fairly new player on the budget- or "no frills"-scene, Centralwings is a Polish airline trying to compete with Ryanair and easyJet.

Cityjet
Cityjet is a Dublin-based subsidiary of Air France, providing short-haul services to and from Ireland.

Bmibaby
Bmibaby is the daughter airline of British Midlands, concentrating of cost-effective short-haul flights.

Flyglobespan
Scottish budget carrier Flyglobespan entered the Irish market in 2007 by providing transatlantic services out of Knock.

Aer Arann
From servicing the Aran Islands in Galway Bay to providing the only inner-Irish network and (more recently) international flights Aer Arann's growth has been an Irish success story.

Aer Lingus
Aer Lingus still is Ireland's official flag carrier - though the former state-owned airline has been privatized a few years ago an has been dwarfed by competitor (and shareholder) Ryanair.

Air Baltic
Air Baltic is a fairly new airline, concentrating on the Scandinavian and Baltic market but also operating Irish connections.

Air Canada
Canada's flag carrier has a long tradition of service and should need no introduction - though even Irish travelers are sometimes surprised that Air Canada operates from airports on the Emerald Isle.

Air France
The flag carrier of France, Air France maintains an extensive, world-spanning network of routes serviced with a modern and reliable fleet.

Air Southwest
The small budget airline concentrates on connections from Ireland to the Southwest of England.

British Midlands has long played (a very successful) second fiddle to British Airways, but should be regarded as a major British airline.

British Airways
The flag carrier of the United Kingdom and an institution in its own right, British Airways is a behemoth with routes literally around the world.

Continental
Continental is one of the major US airlines providing a transatlantic link to Ireland.

Czech Airlines - CSA
Successor of the former Czechoslovakian airline CSA, Czech Airlines is the flag carrier of the Czech Republic.

Delta
One of the largest airlines of the world, Delta is a well-established presence in the transatlantic market and also serving Ireland.

easyJet
One of the most successful and lasting European low-fare airlines, easyJet concentrates on battling Ryanair at Belfast.

Estonian Air
Estonian Air is the flag carrier for the small Baltic Sstate of Estonia - and provides a dedicated Irish service for ex-pats and travelers.
