... overall very satisfying. Short-haul flights are of average quality. Long-haul flights are very much the same, with the on-board catering a cut above some other airlines. I have had great experiences with BA regarding flexibility in the name of customer service on both short- and long-haul flights.
Having said this, I have also to remark that the Boeing 747 used on one transatlantic flight out of Gatwick had a certain tired and worn look. Though technically sound, the image was somehow jaded.
