The Cliffs of Moher and the Burren (County Clare)
Two of Ireland's Most Fascinating Areas of Natural Beauty

From Bernd Biege, About.com

A picture gallery showing the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren, both being essential sights for any visitor to Ireland. Located in County Clare and just a short drive from Galway City, the area is accessible but remote. Only in the summer months does it get really busy here - anybody lucky enough to travel out of the main season will experience some solitude and quiet. But visitors should dress for changing weather. The Burren does provide no shelter in sudden showers and the Atlantic spray at the Cliffs of Moher can soak you through even on a sunny day.
