Stained Glass Window in Downpatrick Cathedral, County Down

This window in Downpatrick Cathedral, a few yards from Saint Patrick's (reputed) burial place, makes a welcome change to more traditional visualizations. We see Patrick as a young shepherd and as an elderly man in clerical garb. The low-key depiction may not be 100% accurate from a historical point of view, but it conveys the same humility as Patrick himself tried to in his writings. Note the prominent Saint Patrick's Cross in the upper window.
