Flooding in Ireland – November 2009: The rainfalls of November 2009 were nothing but catastrophic – it was one of the worst months on record, following on the heels of one of the wettest summers on record. Water everywhere with no place to go. Here are some images of the floods near the Shannon and the Erne, two of the most-afflicted areas.
