- Convenient city center location north if the River Liffey.
- Wide range of shops and outlets, some unique.
- Foodcourt with ample seating.
- Provides convenient city-center parking.
- Celtic Glasgow store draws soccer fans.
- Can occasionally get crowded due to proximity of main shopping areas.
- Access roads to parking slightly complicated for occasonal visitors to Dublin.
- Redeveloped former hospital site in the heart of Dublin's Northside.
- Within easy walking distance of O'Connell Street and Abbey Street.
- Good parking facilities and opportunities for grocery shopping make the Jervis Centre especially attractive.
Location, location, location - this is the Jervis Centre's main selling point. Just south of Henry and Mary Street, near some other malls and department stores, the Jervis is a one-stop-shop with a great location. It also is a god-sent for those using a car, providing hundreds of secure parking spaces (though these are not easily found unless you know your way around Dublin).
As far as shops go the Jervis has a good cross-selection, basic everyday shopping being provided by Tesco and the Marks & Spencer foodhall. The usual high-street shops are in evidence, from Argos to electronics giants Currys. But the Jervis can also provide specialist shopping, from arts and crafts via gadgets to a full shop dedicated to Celtic Glasgow memorabilia and clothing.
Overall a convenient but not overly exciting mall - central location, parking facilities, the foodcourt and (to fans of the "Hoops") the Celtic Glasgow shop being the main points of attraction.
