A 12th century round tower almost completely intact and with a height of 32.6 meters. The base diameter is 5.35 meters, the doorsill can be found 4.67 meters above ground. The "Irish" battlements at the top are a later addition, they were created around 1730. The tower is in the grounds of Kildare cathedral.
