If you are passing by Custom House and Busaras you are virtually going through the lobby of Paddy's Palace. Positive side: you are never stuck for transport. On the other hand you'll experience first-hand why Dublin traffic is regarded as being worse than its New York equivalent. But mentioning transport – Paddy's Palace is the only hostel with its own airport transfer service. Provided by Paddywagon, their tours start here as well.
The hostel is up to standard on all fronts, including WiFi, lockers, breakfast and ... Irishness. As the name suggests, the accommodation prides itself in all things Paddy. Including, it seems, Plastic Paddies and paddywhackery all round - too much for some people, adorable for others.
