From the article: Top 10 Sights of Dublin

Dublin's best attractions - is there a definite list or a wide difference of opinion? Guide books and websites can recommend, but what are the popular favourites among the attractions of Dublin? What, in your personal opinion, should be the one sight no visitor of Dublin should leave without having seen it first?

Dublin Favourite

The Gravediggers aka John Kavanagh Pub, located right next door to the old entrance to Glasnevin Cementry. Founded in 1833, Eugene Kavanagh is the eight generation Dublin Kavanagh to live in and manage the pub. Daniel O'Connell helped the original John Kavanagh secure this prime spot for the pub. Michael Collins, Bono, and James Joyce, among others have had a pint there.

The Gaol

Kilmainham Gaol is a place everyone needs to visit. It's the cradle of modern Irish history.

National Theatre of Ireland

Beautiful theatre, amazing talent, incredible history directly intertwined with Ireland's history: a visit to Dublin would be incomplete without touring the Abbey Theatre or seeing a show!

Best Dublin Sites

I've always been intrigued by the Irish fight for freedom. My "can't miss" spots were the GPO & Kilmainham gaol. St. Stephen's Green ranks up there, too.

GUINNESS!

Leaving Dublin without enjoying a pint of Guinness would be a mistake at least, if not a crime.

Pubs

Of course, there are also the pubs. That could take a few days in itself.
